- Serve as the first point of contact for field partners seeking payroll assistance by email or phone
- Responds accurately and timely in adherence to the 1/24 rule to field partner email inquiries, resolves requests and defers to appropriate Payroll Specialist when necessary

Job Summary:
The Background Compliance Analyst is based in the Corporate Operational Services Department. The Background department consists of three unique disciplines; Adjudication, Customer Service, and Contracts. While in this position you will learn company policy, internal practices and procedures, and apply what you learn on a day-to-day basis within your discipline.
Essential Functions:
- Adjudication:
- Complywithcompanypolicy, practice, andthelawatalltimes
- Applycompanypolicyandpracticetodeterminetheeligibilityofcandidatesbasedonclientcriteriausingthecompany’sthird-partybackgroundcheckvendor
- Maintain a spreadsheetthattracksthestatusofcertainresultstoensureadherencetocompanyprocess
- Correspondwithfieldofficepersonnelviaemailtorequestinformationnecessarytoadjudicatebackgroundcheckresult
- Customer Service:
- All EssentialFunctionsofAdjudicationand;
- Educateandreinforcethecompany’sbackgroundinvestigationpoliciesandprocedurestofieldofficeandcorporatepersonnel
- Educatefieldofficepersonnelonhowtoorderandretrieveresultsonthebackgroundcheckwebsite
- Educateandpromotethecapabilityofthebackgroundscreeningprovider’ssystemfunctionalityandhowfieldofficescanusethisfunctionalitytoassistthemindevelopingandmanagingtheirownofficebackgroundcheckprogram
- Work directlywithfieldofficesand/orcorporatepersonnel, asnecessary, todocumentcustomclientbackgroundcheckrequirementsorinstructions
- Act as a liaisonbetweenourfieldofficesandcorporatepersonnelandbackgroundscreeningprovider
- Managerelationshipswithclientrequiredbackgroundvendors
- Createcompliantbackgroundcheckpackages/serviceswithvendor(s)
- Investigatecustomer, vendorandoverallserviceissues
- Document essentialinformationincompany’sinternalsystems
- ContractsSpecialist:
- Review backgroundcheckrequirementspresentedbyclientsinserviceagreements
- Translatewrittenbackgroundcheckrequirementsintobackgroundcheckservicesforthepurposeofcreating a customandcompliantscreeningpackage
- Document backgroundcheckrequirementsintointernalsystems
- Whennecessary, workwithclient’sbackgroundcheckprovidertosetupaccountforinternalpersonnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience in a professional setting required
Skills and Abilities:
- Mustbeabletomakedecisionsbasedonfactsandfollowinstructions
- Musthaveexcellentcommunicationskills
- Mustbeabletoanalyzeanddiagnosecomplexproblems
- Must be able to operate, at all times, in accordance with company policy and practice
